Brick Church School
The Brick Church school is part of the church’s complex. Although the smallest structure on the campus, it represents a vital chapter in the community’s early life – when education and faith were deeply intertwined.
The school functioned as a traditional one-room school serving the rural farming community surrounding the church. It is recorded as the second school in Rockland County.
The schoolhouse was erected in 1786 and was part of the Ramapo Public School District #8 through the 1960’s.
Today, the school continues its tradition of tutoring young children as the home of Little Lambs Pre-School and Day Care, guided with care by Donisia DeCicco.
